Personal Electronic Free

To promote focused learning environments and reduce distractions, last year our Board approved a policy that ensures our classrooms remain free of personal electronics during instructional time. This policy takes effect this year and is rooted in our dedication to fostering a conducive learning atmosphere where students can fully engage with their studies and interact meaningfully with their peers.

Cell phones, smartwatches, and all personal electronics are to be turned off and stowed away.

At the elementary and middle school level, this means when students arrive at school and until they leave, the electronics need to be put away.

No cell phones during the day

For our high school students, we will allow the electronics to be used only during breaks and lunch.

We understand that technology plays a significant role in today's world, and we will continue to integrate it thoughtfully into our curriculum where appropriate. However, we believe that limiting personal electronics during instructional hours will ultimately benefit our students academically and socially.

Throughout the school year, we encourage open communication between parents, teachers, and administrators. Your involvement and support are invaluable to the success of our students, and we look forward to partnering with you in their educational journey.

If you need to reach your child during the school day, please call the school office.
