COVID-19 Guidance for 2024-25
FOR POSSIBLE SYMPTOMS:
Please continue to monitor for symptoms and remain home when sick. Students are advised to take a COVID-19 test if exhibiting symptoms. If you are in need of a COVID-19 test kit, please contact your school office.
FOR EXPOSURE:
Individuals who have a known exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 positive individual, may continue to attend school without symptoms. It is recommended they test 3-5 days post exposure with an antigen test.
TO REPORT A POSITIVE CASE:
Please report positive student cases to the school secretary or school nurse.
At a minimum, an individual with symptoms should isolate for at least 24 hours until there has been no fever for 24 hours AND their symptoms are mild or improving. If there are no symptoms but a positive test occurs, the student should stay home for 24 hours before returning to school.
Additionally, students should wear a mask when they are around other people indoors for the 10 days after they become sick or test positive (if no symptoms). Day 0 is symptom onset date or positive test date. Students may only remove their mask sooner than 10 days if they have two sequential negative tests at least one day apart. Students do not have to wear a mask outdoors.
